The snow is here, the New Year is here, and so is your next elevator bill.

Has your service changed, while your billing amount hasn’t?  The code for minimum visitation changed in 2013, if you haven’t explicitly been made aware yet, now you have.

Here are the 5.5 reasons to review your contract:

1) It may be ending this year, and you will want to know
2) Does  your contract specifically state the number of visits your elevator will receive in a year?
3) The reduction in mandatory minimum visits could mean you are getting fewer visits for the same (or more) money.
4) Does your contract exclude items like 5-year full load testing and single speed machine components, or have you paid for items that should have been included?
5) Is your elevator is tax exempt, but you are still being charged taxes?

5.5) Was your annual test done in 2016? When is it due in 2017?

These are items you can take to the bank, meaning they all (or at least some) could save you money.

It’s 2017, and everyone wants value for money, wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t have to chase it?

There you have it.  5.5 reasons this newsletter is good for you and your elevator.
