RE: COVID-19 OUTBREAK
Rideau Elevator Services Inc. wants to reassure all customers and potential customers that we are available when you need us.
We have implemented a company wide Covid-19 policy to ensure the safety of our employees, our clients, and the building passengers we see during our maintenance or service visits to your various sites. The policy was made in consultation with Health Canada and Ottawa Public Health, and it will change as conditions change.
Elevator maintenance and emergency service for repairs and shutdowns remains “business as usual” as we progress forward together through these uncertain times. You will be notified should that change.
Here are 5.5 tips to reduce the transmission of all germs:
- Use disinfectant wipes on all elevator buttons and doors
- Clean hall stations with disinfectant wipes
- Do not physically touch the elevator doors while they open and close
- Apply disinfectant wipes to access keys
- Apply disinfectant wipes to elevator handrails and wall panels
5.5) Apply disinfectant wipes to all building door handles including machine room door handles
With awareness, and responsible behaviour on all our parts, we can help reduce the burden on our system as we figure out a way forward together.
