RE: COVID COMMUNICATION
We want to assure you that your efforts during this pandemic are not going unnoticed.
You have made special arrangements for us, you have given us access to buildings at unusual times, and you have taken care to ensure your staff and our technicians can interact safely while we are on site so we can get the job done.
This situation has impacted the lives of our customers in many ways. For most it has meant less traffic in your building, fewer people moving around. We have recognized this dip in building traffic as an opportunity. In addition to completing our maintenance every month we’ve been busy:
- Painting the elevator pit floors
- Painting the machine room floors
- Cleaning of the hoistways
- Completing Annual testing
These tasks typically require the elevators be out of service longer than normal, which can under normal circumstances be an inconvenience. We would urge you to reach out to your existing maintenance provider to discuss the completion of these tasks.
Additionally, for hydraulic elevator owners you can have your oil filtered. When the elevators sit for any length of time, sediment can build up in the oil, settle into components and cause damage to very expensive components. When damage occurs, the fix may take days or weeks to complete.
If you would like to know more about the cost or the time it takes to complete the job at your building, please call our office.
Take care, Thanks for reading and be safe.
